Maybe play Nordveit as a sweeper in a three. Steps up when we are in possession allowing both Noble and Kouyate to break forward. Drops back when defending allowing Burke to cover the right back slot when Antonio is caught up field. Means Feghouli and Tore can play wide and further forward and Byram is not as exposed at left back. No room for Valencia who may not be fully committed given his transfer situation...

But we need to show faith in the likes of Page and Burke.

I shall be mightily pissed off if Antonio is at rb again and if Valencia is in the side, but I get the sinking feeling that at least the first one will happen. The problem of course is the lb position. Slav said in his presser that Ginge and Oggy aren't ready yet and Page didn't even get a mention when he was discussing the lb situation. Can't see him playing any of Nordveidt, Burke or Oxford there, which only leaves Byram. But it would be good to see Burke alongside Reid at the back, which would allow Nordveidt to play in his best position of dm. Hope to see Tore instead of Valencia.
